Movies

                 The movies that I would like to talk about is "The Princess Bride." The director was Rob Reiner and the main actress and actor was Cary Elwes and Robin Wright. This movie was a love story.This movie was about Cary Elwes who acts as Westley and Robin Wright who acts as Buttercup and they have fall in love on each other. But later Westley had died and after few years, Buttercup has accept Westley's death and her family make her to marry with the Prince. So she decided to married with Prince but on their marriage, Westley has came back from the island. When he finally noticed Buttercup's marriage with the Prince, he was so suffered and he can't even accept this truth.

Reading

           The reading that I want to talk about that we have already talk about in class is the reading "The Digital Music Renaissance.This reading was about the electricity.This reading is mostly talking about people can buy music on iTunes but they rather went to the store to buy the music. I think this reading made me think of in a different way. This reading made me think of maybe the people want to go to the store to buy the music is because they just don't want to wait for the music.Also this reading has some meaning. For example, in the text, the author says he is a "better, happier and more productive consumer' which it means he can get all kinds of music at anytime.

            In this project, we have finding the information about Art Institute of Chicago. I think doing this presentation was really fun and I have learned a lot from this presentation. Before doing this presentation, I don't know how to use prezi but after I finish doing this presentation using prezi, I think prezi is really simple.It is really fun to visit one of the famous art museum and I can see many famous artwork in art museum. Before this presentation, I have never visit any art museum but on this presentation, I can visit one of the greatest museum and this can cause me to learn a lot of things. Also after I visit this museum and have a interview with some visitor, I can know how is the high culture related to the art museum. During this presentation, we can have a lot of teamwork to finish this presentation.

Food

                 The reading that I would like to choose to talk about is Noodles vs. Sesame Seed Buns reading. I've finish read this reading and I think this reading has a lot of interesting and surprising parts.I find the most interesting in the reading "Noodles vs. Sesame Seed Buns" is how the fast food industry and the spread of indigenous cultures under Globalization. after I know what this reading is about, I think it is really interesting because I can know what it was talking about and it have influence me a lot. After I finish this reading, I understand more about the food that was popular in their country. The most surprising reading that I found in " Noodles vs. Sesame Seed Buns" is the Chinese fast food resturtant will display the burger and the pizza. At the beginning, I don't know that the Chinese fast food can take over the position from the burger and pizza.

Music

      My favorite musical group is a Korean musical group which is Big Bang. I like many Big Bang's music.I think their music was good and when they sing some rap songs, I always like to sang with them. But the song  I really like is sang by Big Bang which is their famous song, "Sorry, Sorry." The type of music that I really like is rap music and I sometimes like to hear loud music. I always like to hear loud music and rap music when I was boring and don't have anything to do at home.

Cultural Identity

My Poster has some pictures about the my hometown and the poster also has some contrast about U.S.A. and Guangdong. On the China culture side, I have a map of my country which is Guangdong. Also I have a picture of my country food and the two pictures about the holiday in China, Guangdong. And then on the other side which is U.S.A culture, I have a map of U.S.A., a America flag and also has a picture about the holiday in United States. I chose this images to put on my poster because this images can explain how China culture and U.S.A. culture looks like and can see what is their difference. This image means to me is it can explains how I think China and U.S.A.'s difference and similar.

Pop Culture

            Pop culture influences me by before this, I don't know what is the pop culture that I have but right now, i finally know. Since I have been in the U.S., I have changed a lot. After I came to the U.S., I know my English better than when I was in my hometown because when I was in China, my school doesn't teach English that well and their grammar was so different from U.S and after I came to U.S., my language has changed a lot and it become better. Since I taking this class, I think I have know a lot from this class that I usually don't know. I have know may things about pop culture and high culture because before I attend this class, it never heard of pop culture and high culture and I don't know what is their difference.
